360 Textile Technologies – NPUK Collaboration

Posted: 24.01.18

360 Textile Technologies has announced a collaboration with Niemann-Pick UK, and will provide a donation on the sale of every pair of their waterproof, breathable knitted shoes. The idea for this collaboration came after the company Directors, Carolyn and Wendy, were moved (like so many others!) by the BBC Children in Need video featuring parents Carl HitchensFiona Dunne, their twin daughters Grace (12, NP-C) and Emily, and NPUK Clinical Nurse Specialist Laura Bell.

360 Textiles is a business based in the Yorkshire Dales, specialising in waterproof, breathable, knitted leisure shoes. A spokesperson from the company said:

“…they are the first of their kind in Europe, the leisure shoe is stylish, comfortable, and lightweight. It incorporates 360 Textiles’ newly developed, technical membrane which makes the shoe waterproof and breathable. Available in a range of sizes and fashion-conscious colours, the shoe will have a target price in the shops of £129, with early online sales aiming at around £90.

The shoe is ideal for leisure walking – on the way to the office, walking the dogs, walking on the beach – and provides all-round comfort to keep you dry, whatever the weather. Initially, the shoe will be available to buy via the 360 Textiles’ Facebook page and website. It is expected to launch in February…”
