Families Registration for the much-loved NPUK Annual Family Conference & Interactive Workshop on Niemann-Pick Disease 2022 is now officially open!

Posted: 19.08.22

We are so excited to share that registration for the much-loved NPUK Annual Family Conference & Interactive Workshop on Niemann-Pick Disease 2022 is now officially open, and we cannot wait to welcome you in October.

Our Annual Family Conference and Interactive Workshop provides the opportunity to bring together patients and families, with those working to progress clinical care, research, and therapies for Niemann-Pick diseases.

As you may know, this year’s Conference is pretty special as it marks the return to our much loved “in-person” format, the first since 2019, which will allow our community to get together over the course of one weekend to further support each other, learn from one another, and enjoy time together.

Our programme includes updates from UK and International speakers, covering the subjects of clinical trials, basic science research and practical care issues, and enabling the sharing of experience, knowledge and information on a global scale.

Like every year, this Conference is for you and we aim to create an informal atmosphere in which everyone feels comfortable. As well as our main presentations, you will have the opportunity to connect with professional and family delegates during breakout sessions and workshops plus breaks and social time.

We also offer a range of fun activities for children and young people of all ages and abilities, running in parallel with the main programme and delivered by our expert team of trained volunteers.

We are really looking forward to welcoming back patients, families, and friends of the community, for some this may be the first time they have met with others in the NPUK community, and we hope everyone, friends old and new, will feel very welcome. In the coming weeks we will be sharing a little more about this year’s Conference programme and what you can expect from the weekend, so stay tuned on our social media!

We really hope you can join us on the 7th-9th October at our home from home, Wyboston Lakes, Bedfordshire. Wyboston Lakes is one of our favourite locations, with many memories made over the years, and we are sure this year will be no exception. Registration is quick and easy, then simply mark the weekend in your calendar and look forward to what is sure to be a fun, informative, and supportive event.
