A new Disability Survey has just been announced by the UK Government, and as ever we would like to encourage as many people from the wider NPUK Community to get involved. It’s important to add that although they are especially keen to receive responses from disabled people, those who care for them, and close family/friends, ALL views are very welcome from members of the wider public. The survey will remain open until 23rd April, and all views will be used to shape the delivery of the plans we set out in the Strategy with those that we receive by 13th February informing its development.
The link for the survey can be found here.
The link for the Easy Reads version is on the opening page of the survey and can also be found on gov.uk https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/disability-in-the-uk-survey with details of all the accessibility products. A Braille format version can be provided on request by contacting: DUCitizenspace@cabinetoffice.gov.uk.
We encourage all of you to take part in, and share, this survey. Informing the UK Government of your own experiences in this manner helps shape constructive and positive policy – don’t miss your chance to have your voice heard!
